Origen represents the beginning of our existence. The family and loved ones who surround us shape who we are and leave their mark upon us.
Each sculpture stands as an individual figure, different in height, form, and character, yet all share the same material and remain connected as part of a single whole. The ancient wood, marked by time, symbolizes our roots, our history, and what we inherit; the forged iron brings strength, permanence, and continuity.
The different figures come together as a family does: no two are identical, each occupies its own space, yet their true meaning emerges when they are contemplated together.
The Origen Collection is a reflection on what remains at the beginning of every life: the bonds that precede us, the people who accompany us, and those who, even when they are no longer with us, continue to be part of who we are.
Because before the individual, there was the bond. And within that bond lies our origin.
